Introduction

This is a fairly complete archive of files for the IBM PS/2 series of personal computers. Following disk images are available for most systems and options:

Reference Disk (refdisk) - Required to configure MCA based systems.
Starter Disk - Required to configure ISA based systems.
Diagnostic Disk (diags) - Can be used to test the system unit and peripherals. Typically accessed through the corresponding Reference Disk.
Option Disk - May be required when installing a new option. For MCA adapters it also contains the corresponding ADF files (Adapter Description Files).
Flash Update Diskette - Allows you to update system/adapter firmware (BIOS). This feature is only available on the late PS/2 machines and adapters.

Note: The disk images on this page are in RAW format (.IMG or .IMA) to achieve the best possible compatibility and flexibility. This format can be processed by many different utilities for many different operating systems.
