When configured as a DTE, the MPA-2000 uses a DB25 short body male connector CN2. When configured as a DCE, the MPA-2000 uses a DB25 long body female connector CN1.

Due to sagging market demand, the Micro Channel products are no longer being supported by new releases of Syncdrive. The last release of Syncdrive for the MPA-2000/3000 Micro Channel adapter is Release 2.21.
