2 Ensure that DOS and Windows are installed in the hard disk
     drive.
3 Insert the Warp CD-ROM into the internal CD-ROM drive.
4 Open the DOS command prompt.
5 Enter the following to copy all the diskette images from the
Warp CD-ROM to the hard disk drive:

        C:\>xcopy Õcd:þ\os2image\*.* Õc:þ\os2image\*.* /s
        C:\>copy Õcd:þ\diskimgs\*.* Õc:þ\os2image
        C:\>copy Õcd:þ\diskimgs\os2\35\disk0.dsk Õc:þ\os2image

formatted for 1.44MB and insert it into the diskette
        drive.
     b) Enter the following to create the diskette:

           C:\>cd os2image
           C:\OS2IMAGE\>loaddskf disk1.dsk a: /f/y

Page - 1-17

     c) After the diskette has been created, find the following
line in the CONFIG.SYS file on the diskette. You can
use the E editor supplied with DOS or any other editor.

           set os2_shell=sysinst2.exe

        Change the line to:

           set os2_shell=sysinst2.exe Õc:þ\os2image

        Save the CONFIG.SYS file.

     d) Place the label "OS/2 Installation Diskette" on a blank

Using the Audio Function with OS/2 Warp

When you are using the audio function in OS/2 Warp, do not use
   suspend and resume function.

Using the PCMCIA Function with OS/2 Warp

When you use the PCMCIA Function in OS/2 Warp, use the PC
Card Director program for OS/2 Warp.

The PC Card Director does not support the OS/2 MVDM
environment, so that the following restrictions exist:

o Do not install the PC Card Director for DOS from the DOS
window command prompt or from the DOS full-screen
     command prompt.
o Do not install the PC Card Director for Windows from the
WIN-OS/2 window session or from the WIN-OS/2 full-screen
     session.
o You cannot use the PC Card Director for DOS and one for
Windows in the OS/2 Warp environment.
o You cannot use any PC Card Enablers for DOS Card Services
     in the OS/2 Warp environment.

Using the Video Capture Function in the WIN-OS/2 Session

You can use the Digital Video Producer to capture video in the
WIN-OS/2 full-screen session, but not in the WIN-OS/2 window
   session.

To use the Digital Video Producer, set the following parameters for:

o Settings for the WIN-OS/2 Session:

     ÕHW_TIMERþ ON
     ÕIDLE_SENSITIVITYþ 75
     ÕINT during IOþ ON
     ÕSESSION_Priorityþ 32

o For the TIMER.DRV section in the Windows SYSTEM.INI file:

        TIMERMax386Res = 8
        TIMERMax286Res = 8

You might see a degradation of capture performance (frames
     per second). To recover it:

     - Use the Digital Video Producer in the Windows
environment. You can use the Windows environment by
double-clicking on the ÕDual bootþ icon in the ÕCommand promptþ
       folder of OS/2.

     Or:

     - Use the Video In application in the OS/2 environment.
